Ochre was founded in 2023 in Goa, not because Goa defined us, but because it freed us. Its openness, its cultural appetite, its unapologetic instinct for celebration gave us the permission to think without borders.

What began as a conviction that Indian craft spirits could stand in the global conversation has become something far larger. Ochre is now a contemporary House of Beverages, spanning artisanal spirits, innovative non-alcoholic formulations, and modern expressions shaped by precision distillation, maceration-led craftsmanship, and an obsession with flavour.

We are not rooted in nostalgia. We are not defined by geography. We are not building for one category, one city, or one kind of drinker. We are building a house, one that holds craft spirits and craft mixers, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, celebration and restraint, all under the same uncompromising standard. Our Journey

2023

The Beginning

Ochre Spirits launches in Goa with its debut collection of premium Indian craft spirits, Peach and Cherry Vodka and signature flavoured rums. Small-batch. Maceration-led. Built on the conviction that Indian craft belonged in the same sentence as the world's best.

2024

Expansion

The portfolio expands into gin with Dry Gin and Kiwi and Pear Gin, alongside new fruit-forward vodkas. Ochre opens India's first dedicated brand tasting room, an immersive space where craft spirits culture, community, and premium hospitality meet under one roof.

2025

The House Takes Shape

The launch of Saffron Vodka marks Ochre's deepening commitment to flavour-led distillation and refined artisanal craft. Internally, the vision shifts from spirits brand to House of Beverages, a deliberate expansion of what Ochre is and what it is being built to become.

2026

Refinement and Range

Original Dry Gin. Plum Gin. Two Agave expressions. A full non-alcoholic mixer and premix range. And on the horizon — a whisky and a brandy that will complete the house. In one year, Ochre moved across more ground than most brands cover in a decade. This is not a portfolio. This is a declaration.
